6 | Houghton Rocks Classic and Vintage Motor ShowPre-War up to modern days vehicles The Town Council ran a Classic And Vintage Motor Show in 2012, which ran each September till 2015. We then changed the format of the event, to incorporate the vehicles in with a new musical event, which we called 'Houghton Rocks'. This was first held in 2016, and has taken place each year, since then, with the exception of 2020. The event is a great day out and we are looking forward to the next one, on 6th September 2025 Parkside Drive Recreation Ground, Houghton Regis. 20 | The FCC (Four Counties Classic) will continue to meet on the first and third Saturdays of every month in 2025:The FCC (Four Counties Classic) is a free gathering for all pre-1990 classic cars. The gatherings take place from 9am to noon on the first and third Saturdays of every month throughout the year at The Bletchingley Arms, 2 High St, Bletchingley, Surrey RH1 4PE For those who need sustenance, The Bletchingley Arms serves breakfast between 9.30am and 10.30am. The event is a static gathering in the midst of some wonderful driving roads though the scenic North Downs. When the weather was kind, prior to the lock-downs we often had as many as 130 cars in attendance. One reason for the success of the gathering is its geographical location close to the borders between four counties. We have regular members who come from Surrey, Greater London, Kent and Sussex. There are probably more classic cars in these four counties than anywhere else in the country (and therefore the world). |
||||
20 | The Wöldinghamring classicA free gathering for all pre-1990 classic cars takes place from 9am to noon on the third Saturday of every month throughout the year at Botley Hill Farmhouse, an early 16th century country inn on Limpsfield Road, Warlingham, Surrey CR6 9QH. This is 3 miles south of Warlingham on the B269. The event is a static gathering in the midst of some some wonderful driving roads though the scenic North Downs including the famous wöldinghamring. For those who need sustenance, Botley Hill Farmhouse serves breakfast from 9.30am. Contact Ian at xkeidp@gmail.com |

Marlborough Wiltshire SN8 3DW We are very much interested in bringing classic car and motorcycle groups to Crofton for there's a lot of 'cross pollination' interest within the heritage movement. Amongst our volunteers there's a Ford Galaxy and a Stanley steam car to be found to name but two. As for space, that's not a problem as the attached show and whilst the main hardstanding car park is not that large the field car park is vast |
